Speaking of Carry-On Baggage
A suggestion from my cousin Jonathan prompted me to create this blog for my travel pictures. Before I had a chance to post my first set of pictures from our recent trip to Costa Rica, we had some exciting news that gave a whole new meaning to carry-on baggage. We went to Costa Rica to celebrate my 30th birthday and the best gift of all was that we found out that I was pregnant with our first baby a week after we got home. Lucky me, I wasn't charged for the extra carry-on!
Destination: Life
Good thing I love to travel because life is an ongoing journey. I used to think of travel as only destinations like the French Polynesia, Ireland, Jamaica and Costa Rica. More recently I have realized that travel is not just about the destination, but also about the journey of life itself. As a travel-lover, I find this exciting because my journey doesn't have to begin or end when I travel to some exotic country. Everyday, we travel in our own lives...one more step in life's journey. The challenge is to honor our daily life and journey the way we would a trip to the most beautiful destination in the world.
